Your Laguiole knife is crafted by the skilled artisans at the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop. The blades, springs, solid stainless steel bolsters, and pins are meticulously forged at their facility. Notably, the Berger Cross adorns the left side of your Laguiole.
The Laguiole en Aubrac Balbach folding knife boasts exceptional cutting capabilities, featuring a refined structure and impressive hardness post-quenching, reaching up to 63 HRC. The carbon Damascus steel used is resistant to deformation during heat treatment. It is composed of 90McV8 (O2), known for its deep black hues, and 45NCD16 with 4% nickel, resulting in strikingly contrasting patterns.
