Your Laguiole knife is a masterpiece crafted entirely by the skilled artisans at the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop. The blade, intricately guilloché spring, solid brushed stainless steel bolsters, and pins are all forged in-house at Laguiole en Aubrac.
Cedar, a revered member of the Cupressaceae family, is often called the “tree of life” due to its enduring nature and evergreen foliage. This tree, a symbol of eternity, is known for its distinctive aroma and lightweight, tender wood. Its heartwood ranges from a pinkish-brown to a richly veined brown-red, accented with darker oval patterns. The Thuya wood used in this Laguiole knife provides a stunning finish and exceptional durability over time. Two brushed stainless steel bolsters enhance and safeguard your knife for everyday use.
The handle’s left side is adorned with the iconic shepherd’s cross, a hallmark of Laguiole tradition.
Please note that we use natural materials, and as such, the appearance of our products may vary. This uniqueness is what makes each piece one-of-a-kind. Therefore, our photos are not binding representations.
